Construction is ongoing on the new Cumberland Parkway/KY 910 interchange in Russell County. The Kentucky Department of Highways announced a temporary close on a portion of East Mount Eden Road at the intersection of KY 910 in Russell County in mid-June as a part of the KY 910/Cumberland Parkway interchange project. The $6.3 million project will consist of new on and off ramps constructed at the east KY 910 overpass near the Russell/Casey County line. The Cumberland Parkway travels from just north of Bowling Green to Somerset, Kentucky. It passes Glasgow and access to Barren River Lake State Resort Park, Edmonton, Columbia and access to Green River Lake, and Russell Springs with access to Lake Cumberland State Resort Park. Little campus garden at LWC

2019-07-06 - Campus of Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com
This little campus garden was created by LWC Biology Professor Dr. Mike Bosela and students. He also originated the Community Garden downtown by the Columbia United Methodist Church. Besides being lovely to look at, this wildflower garden helps with soil erosion in its location beside the Soccer field.
