One Trail Town entry to Russell Creek not very accessible

One of the two designated Trail Town entries to Russell Creek in Columbia is lined with these pretty wildflowers - entry is not real visible - not real accessible. Trail Town volunteers have asked that the City Parks & Recreation Department take over the entity for its future development. The volunteers did the work of getting Adair County certified and now the next steps to develop inviting, easy to recognize public places need to be planned and carried out. (PS: While at this beautiful Queen Anne's Lace and Cornflower patch by Russell Creek, in addition to the picture, the photographer gained a number of Chigger bites. Next time I enjoy traveling the City's scenic Waterworks Street, I'm not getting out of the car unless it's nicely mowed or it's winter.) A larger-than-usual crowd for the July 2019 Chamber of Commerce lunch meeting heard some tough talk from guest speaker United States Attorney Russell Coleman who recommended having tough talks about drugs with families. He said we can't arrest our way out of the present drug crises, families have to work on prevention. He said he has conversations with his 11-year-old and recommends the talks begin in middle school.
