Fall baseball starts at Joe Johnson Park

Each season brings a different sport. This week, youngsters began fall baseball at Joe Johnson Little League Park. Jaxson Warren stood at the plate, ready to bat. Very few things spark the curiosity of an eight-year-old boy like that of an enormous praying mantis. Roughly five inches long, the gentle leaf-like creature was found crawling across freshly mowed grass. And according to this fearless child, moving mantis feet really tickle the hands.
