Day Trip: Double-Crested Cormorant in action

This bird performed for us for long moments - Ellen thought it was a Heron, I thought it was a duck. We were both wrong. It is a midnight black Double-Crested Cormorant and they do not have waterproof feathers so they stretch, twist and open wide to dry off after their bath. Comments | Permalink
