Weather changed overnight and we received our first snow before midnight November 11, 2019. Grandaddy Marcum would likely have known exactly what this might be a sign of - snow on colorful fall leaves that haven't yet dropped off the tree. At VFW Post 6097 - several win homemade quilts

Monday morning, November 11, 2019, the traditional Veterans Day breakfast was held at Post 6097 for all veterans and their spouses/significant others. The local quilters guild gave away 15 patriotic quilts they'd made in a drawing and these Veterans were the winners. Comments | Permalink
