Crocus Watch 2020: Spring may be around the corner
2020-01-01 - Harrodsburg, KY - Photo by Mike Watson
Mike writes: "Ed always encouraged me to keep a close eye on the Crocus and related budding plants in the early days of January and February. Certainly the recent warm days have encouraged early growth.
The earliest that I photographed and CM published were on, I believe, January 14th. However the accompanying photo dates to this morning, January 1, 2020. They poked through the mulch earlier this week, but I waited to capture the progress until the first of 2020." Comments | Permalink

Break Time

These aren't your average lazy cats -- these are working cats, on a well-earned break from their duties at the Purrfect Day Cafe in the Highlands. The cafe cats, who are otherwise adoptable, spend their time at the cafe mingling with patrons over coffee and wine. Comments | Permalink
