Billy Joe Fudge, President of the Homeplace on Green River Board, welcomed the large crowd in attendance at the annual winter meeting Saturday evening and introduced new events coming this year along with many of the regulars from past work and events. HGR is a shared project of Adair, Green and Taylor counties, located at 5807 New Columbia Road, in Taylor County. The farm is being restored by volunteers and is administered by a Board of Directors representing all three counties. Seated to his left are Ed and Jody Huffman. Slides ran in the background throughout the event showing how things were at the start in 2001 and the current state of buildings, grounds and events. Comments | Permalink

Andrew and Addie winners in state Beta competition

Continuing to honor our winners from Adair County Middle School in the state competition - Andrew Zinati won third place in Science and Addie Bennett won first place in black and white photography at the recent State Beta Convention.
