Charles Barnes, at left, received a shout out for his work in the founding of the Adair County Cattlemen’s Association when former Adair County Extension Agent David Herbst spoke at the annual dinner. He said if Charles hadn't worked as treasurer they'd have had no money at all 25 years ago in the organizational phase. To his right are Kevin Odell and Paul Miller.
