AC Fire Department working on SBCA grant

A week ago, before the new guidelines on meetings were put into place, Adair County Fire department officials attended the first March Fiscal Court meeting to ask for support of a grant for $170,000 for the purchase of self-contained breathing apparatus (SBCA). The Court approved their request. Judge Executive Gale Cowan said the grant is only a pass-through using Fiscal Court, but no monies will come from Fiscal Court pertaining to this grant. Daffodil Watch 2020: left behind in Lebanon

There will come a time when this crumbling mansion on the corner across from Lebanon's Walmart will sell to business or industry and the Daffodils will be dozed. For this spring 2020, however, it remains a landmark for all driving by. Comments | Permalink
