The barn on the hill is very close to commercial activity in Columbia but it looks very rural - it's located between the newest Dollar Store and Walmart.

The news of the day stated, "Edgar Compton's Lunch Room is where the action is in Gradyville these days - the eatery opened in an alcove built onto the Compton Grocery and on all days of the week excepting the Sabbath, people who like good food meet at Edgar's for short orders or plate lunches, expertly prepared by Mrs. Compton. Opening night saw no fewer than 85 guests served..." - JIM

Announcing first case of virus in Taylor County

Taylor County Emergency Management Director Ronnie Dooley accompanied leaders of the Lake Cumberland District Health Department and Taylor County government to both radio stations in Campbellsville Thursday for the announcement of the first case of the Coronavirus there.
