Dogwood tree donated and planted at Trabue House

A dogwood tree was planted at Columbia's historic Trabue Russell House in celebration of Earth Day Thursday. The tree was donated by Vonnie Kolbenschlag, a lead volunteer at the House. Adair Food Pantry is open each Tuesday morning at 203 South Monroe Street, behind Columbia United Methodist Church, Columbia, KY between 9am-12pmCT and they have plenty of food. The Food Pantry caters to senior citizens, disabled Veterans, and hungry children. They are required to keep a few records but no one is turned away. As a rule, they say, if you're hungry they make sure you get food and they never run out. This is a view of the building from West Fortune Street, across the parking lot behind Columbia UMC.
