Teacher's Thoughts, spring semester 2020: Deb Waddell

2020-05-06 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Deb Waddell -- ACMS
This is what I miss, whether in my classroom or teaching in the hallways. We didn’t have time to say a real goodbye and prepare our students for what was to come. They’re still learning but it’s not the same. The hugs, the smiles, the jokes and laughter are missing from my new online platform. Sending a "heart 💓emoji" and sending them “hugs” virtually is the best I can do. I simply miss my kids! - Deb

(All our teachers and staff are invited to share thoughts about the 2020 spring semester - the time the Coronavirus changed school.)

Lindsey Wilson College President William T. Luckey Jr., congratulates the Class of 2020 via recorded message on what would have been commencement Saturday. Restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic forced LWC to postpone the spring 2020 commencement ceremony for the first time in the 117-year history of the college. LWC is working with the Student Government Association and senior class officers to determine a rescheduled date for the postponed ceremony.
