Columbia Magazine asked teachers for a selfie and thoughts about this spring semester 2020 when the Coronavirus changed everything. Mrs. Sheila Huff's comments are linked to this picture. She says, in part, "... I never thought when we left on March 13th that we wouldn't be together again as a classroom. If I had known, I would have hugged them more that day, studied their faces, looked at their smiles, and made sure they knew that I love them. This semester has left me longing for closure with the kids I left that day in mid March. I know they are all doing well and blessed to have this extra time with their family, but I sure do miss them." Comments | Permalink
