Contest bringing in beautiful photos

Photographing the beauty of Adair County is ongoing in a contest now by the City of Columbia. This is just one of many photos being shared on the City's Facebook page. The winner and second place winner will receive gift certificate(s) to a local business of their choice. The contest is being sponsored by Mayor Pam Hoots who encourages everyone to "share the beauty of your town, your family, your home." Email entries to: tcollins@cityofcolumbiaky.com. The city will take entries until July 6, 2020.

Boating Safety tips from KDFW

Impaired boating is a leading contributor to recreational boating deaths. Kentucky will increase its law enforcement presence around the state's lakes and rivers from July 3-5 as a reminder not to boat under the influence.
