Wikipedia says about the Red-eared slider, "they inhabit areas with a source of still, warm water, such as ponds, lakes, swamps, creeks, streams, or slow-flowing rivers. They live in areas of calm water where they are able to leave the water easily by climbing onto rocks or tree trunks so they can warm up in the sun. Individuals are often found sunbathing in a group or even on top of each other." Comments | Permalink Help bail out Mayor and Police Chief

Mayor Pamela Hoots and Columbia Police Chief Jason Cross are serving time ‘behind bars’ to help raise money for the UK Children’s Miracle Network this morning. You may get a call from ‘jail’ stationed today at Walmart to raise ‘bail money’. All proceeds go to the UK Children's Hospital. You can drop off a donation or call in a pledge message to City Hall 270-384-2501. Comments | Permalink Older Photos
