Columbia Pharmacy held their Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony Tuesday, July 14, 2020 with family, friends and customers in attendance. Owners Britt and Matt Jackson, and David Bowman have been working together in the area since Britt and Matt started working with David in 2001. Jamie Seale picks up her prize for best sidewalk art

Winning artist Jamie Seale, at right, picked up her prize for best sidewalk art at City Hall. She told Columbia Magazine that she wanted to create a message to help people know not to worry. So she painted a lifelike sparrow and butterfly woven into the words, "consider the lilies" with the note to refer to Matthew 6:28. Mayor Pam Hoots is in back.
