The Columbia Police Department is spreading holiday cheer this season with Operation Christmas Spirit, a community donation drive to help local Adair County children and elderly residents along with residents at Signature Health Nursing Home. Officers are collecting toys, blankets, socks (adult sizes) and food donations, which will be distributed throughout Columbia and Adair County to families and individuals in need.

Russell Glass wins 2nd place award at KAEA Conference

Russell Glass was awarded 2nd place in his category at the 2025 Ky Art Educators Association Conference this past weekend, held at Bellarmine College in Louisville. His teacher, Adair County High School art teacher Cayce Davenport, attended the conference where art educators from all over the state came together for visual art professional development and showcase their students' works.
