Veronica writes, "On my trip to DC I saw lots of things. I even saw a Washington crossing! I didn't witness him crossing the Delaware, but I did watch him cross the street! ;)
This was outside Mt. Vernon and while I wasn't sure the exact reason for this character dress, I was thoroughly pleased to see time period clothing and many historical actors." Comments | Permalink

Veronica writes, "Much has been said about the renovation of the Reflecting Pool here in front of the Washington Monument. I believe they refilled it just last week. It was clean and reflected beautifully."

Veronica writes, "The Monument was open and the elevator tour was operational. If you go, please do what you can to get a ticket to go up inside the monument. It isn't a long time consuming activity, but getting there and parking is hard. But seeing all of DC... From up there was amazing!!! 10 out of 10!" Comments | Permalink
