Mild winter, January carrots, and very cold hands

Larry writes, "The carrot patch is still going strong. I harvested these January 22. At this point I'm experimenting to see how much longer the rest will survive. The digging wasn't so bad, but the washing off the dirt brought back memories of when I was a kid and going home after throwing snow balls all afternoon." Comments | Permalink

Gary writes, "The church is on the right. Originally the EUB before it joined with the Methodist Church to form the United Methodist Church. The building on the left was originally a hospital but in the 60s was use as the parsonage for the pastor." Comments | Permalink
