Roads in Adair County before next storm wave

These photos received last evening provide Tuesday's look at some of the roads in Knifley, Snake Creek and Breeding where the Sheriff's Office has responded to calls for assistance. Roads out in county were virtually impassible without four wheel drive. It’s taking us a little while to get to some calls because of road conditions but we are still plowing through them and getting there.
Today's temperatures will allow for some improvement until the next storm wave comes through this evening. Comments | Permalink

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 6pmCT on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, until 6amCT on Friday morning for counties including Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell and Taylor. Multiple rounds of wintry weather are expected. Snow accumulations greater than 4 inches will be possible across portions of south-central Kentucky during the period. Comments | Permalink
