Looking ahead for Adair County's recycling

Bridget Compton, Adair County Fiscal Court Clerk and Solid Waste Coordinator, said she is hopeful that the next budget, starting July 1, 2021, may allow for the Recycling Center to reopen. The pandemic and loss of labor meant it had to be closed for the remainder of this budget year. Click on the following links to review Adair County's Solid Waste position last summer. What a difference a week makes in Kentucky weather. This is the view from the Sheriff's vehicle as he responded to calls during the ice and snow storms last week. We are looking at a weekend of rain but temperatures are nowhere near freezing, so no ice in the next few days. Comments | Permalink
