New Columbia Walmart Manager welcomed

Shaunda Soverly, at right, is the new Columbia Walmart Manager, replacing Sam Scarborough who transferred to Bowling Green recently. She was welcomed by Columbia-Adair Chamber of Commerce leaders Ellen Zornes and Woody Sharpe. She said her family was on their way to Columbia from Florida at the time everyone met for the groundbreaking of the new KFC store across the street. They will make their home in Adair County. The newest business to come to the Walmart Center in Columbia, Kentucky Fried Chicken, had ground broken Wednesday, March 10, 2021. The ownership family was welcomed by city and county representatives.
