Adair County School District Academic Team members are master award winners this year. That influenced the Mayor to proclaim the month of March 2021 as Academic Team Month. At the proclamation signing, Patrick Oliver proudly displayed his many medals for City Police Chief Jr Murphy, at left, and Mayor Pam Hoots, who said he might need to become an elected official one day. Scenic Kentucky: Deer in Gradyville

A family of five deer had Sunday lunch time disturbed by vehicles heading their way from both directions. Since it was Old Gradyville Road that wanders around Big Creek, traffic necessarily had to go slow, giving them plenty of time to head across the road to woods and safety. Comments | Permalink
