ACHS Sources of Strength at City Hall

The newly created Mental Health Flag was presented to Columbia Mayor Pamela Hoots, at right, at City Hall Thursday by the Adair County High School Sources of Strength group. The goal is for the flag to become a global symbol for supporting all mental health initiatives and all those affected by mental illness. The Sources of Strength group at ACHS partnered with Mrs. Kim Brian and the Pete Foundation to sell the flags locally to raise funds. They are $20 each and can be purchased at ACHS.
Sources of Strength members are, front: Abby Claywell, Amber Loy, Luke Rich, Maison Karnes, Madison Irvin, Lily Loy, Lilly Glass, Sarai Collins, and Mayor Hoots. In back are: Robin Loy, Brody Blair, Emily Murphy, Madeline Hardwick, Ellie Cheatham, Kiley Cowan, and Hallie Burton. Comments | Permalink
