Floyd Fields and Willard Parnell (Uncle Sam) are a couple of remarkable men, elder soldiers. Floyd is 87 years old and Willard is 93. Willard still does a lot of fishing and is an excellent musician. He entertained at the recent Farmer’s Market opening on his harmonica. Floyd was pictured later beside a Jeep restored by Brooks Fuller in honor of his father’s military service. Green County's Gracie Parrott, Campbellsville University golfer, won the NAIA Individual National Championship on Friday at Rose Creek Golf Course in Oklahoma City, OK. Parrott is full of gratitude and has the intent of more improvements and wins. "God has blessed me in so many ways and I'm forever grateful for the talent and opportunities he has given me.
