May 28, 2021 was Dr. George Webb's 90th birthday and he was honored with a proclamation making it "Dr. George Webb Day in Columbia" by Mayor Pam Hoots, at right. Family members pictured with him on his special day were his wife, Elizabeth, their son, Dr. Steve Webb and wife, Laylon, and grandchildren Collin Webb, Mary Elizabeth Simons, and Lauren Simons.

At the Veterans Roadside Park

The warm sun and clear skies over Memorial Day weekend made the American Flag shine at the Roadside Park on Hwy 55 South. The new Flag was installed just before the holiday weekend by the VFW Post 6097 and the sign is being painted naming it the Veterans Roadside Park. Comments | Permalink
