Marie writes, "Had to add the prettiest little purple wildflower. Believe this is chicory. Mountain coffee. Perhaps Columbia Magazine can help me identify this beautiful weed flower? It's on a very long stem with one flower at top."

Little League 8U honored by City of Columbia

The Adair County Little League 8U, (eight and Under), is honored this week by Mayor Pamela Hoots and the City of Columbia for being the first team ever to make it to the final four. They made it to number three in the state.
Team members are, front row, from left: Carter Albrektson, Bennett McGaha, Jase Corneilson, (Mayor Hoots), and Trey "Bear" Burwash.
In back, from left, are: Lundon Moore, Knox Burton, Hayes Burton, Greyson Dudley, Fischer Brown, and Michael Hargis. The season's coaches were Jacob Burton, Chad Moore and Chase Brown. Comments | Permalink
