Shannon Steveson is with the Extension Homemakers at the Membership Drive-Thru being held today- October 15th in the parking lot at the County Extension Office. Shannon is an Extension Homemaker, and is a breast cancer survivor. She has a touching story to share with you, and she emphasizes the necessity of early detection with a mammogram. The Homemakers invite you to come drive-thru the parking lot and receive lots of information about Breast Cancer Awareness. You’ll also have a chance to register for door prizes and pay your membership dues to the Adair County Extension Homemakers. For more information contact the Extension Office at 270-384-2317. Eva Wilkinson (left) was presented an award for having 50 years of continuous membership in the Adair County Extension Homemakers Association. Eva is a member of the Green River Homemakers Club and is a proud supporter of Extension Homemakers. Eva has lots of stories she can share about the history of Extension Homemakers in Adair County.
