Scenic Adair County: the disappearing road

Gloomy days have their advantages for interesting pictures - in a journey this week, the road was the same color as the sky. Coming from Russell Springs toward Columbia it appeared to the passenger that Highway East 80 goes right up into the clouds. Comments | Permalink

Double Rainbow in Casey County

Mike writes, "This appeared over our farm in Southern Casey Co yesterday afternoon (Oct 28) about 5pm. All I had was my phone and I tried to capture the entire scene... It distorted the edges a bit but I was able to see both ends."
