How Adair County and its communities were named

Adair County was formed 11 December 1801. The seat of justice of new Adair County was established on a tract of land that came to be called Columbia. The Place Names presentation by Mike Watson, at right, was presented to a crowd of history lovers at the Adair County Genealogy and History Research Center recently.

LWU grad students shine in team competition

LWU counseling graduate students Brittany Sulfridge (left) of Williamsburg and Madyson Jones (righ) of Elizabethtown were recognized for their work on a winning project in Interprofessional Primary Care Behavioral Health Integration Case Competition. The competition was held between graduate students at Lindsey Wilson, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the University of Louisville.
