Code Red warning for snow and freezing temps

The CodeRED alert has arrived. The first major snow of the new year is expected tomorrow, Thursday, January 6, 2022. Light snow will be possible as early as Thursday morning, but the significant snow will fall Thursday afternoon and evening, tapering off overnight. Heaviest snowfall rates in central Kentucky are generally expected to occur roughly along and east of I-65 and along and south of the Bluegrass Parkway Thursday afternoon and evening. After the snow ends, temperatures will plummet and not likely not rise above freezing until midday Saturday. Comments | Permalink
