If you like Indian cuisine but there's no time and no cooperative weather to drive a hundred miles for it, just make it at home. It's recommended to have two people managing all the spices and ingredients, the many dishes and kitchen chaos to avoid having the situation resemble a scene in an I Love Lucy episode. Chicken Tikka Masala is on the right, with rice, naan and a bit of Chicken Saag on the left.

Traffic lined up in all directions

Traffic was heavy Monday afternoon after schools let out. Vehicles were lined up all around the historic Adair County Courthouse and traveling in both directions on Jamestown Street.

Proclamation: CMV Week in Columbia Jan 31 - Feb 4, 2022

Columbia Mayor Pam Hoots and Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan joined to officially proclaim the week of January 31 through February 4, 2022, as CMV week in Columbia in honor of Bella Streeval, who would have celebrated her fifth birthday this week. Bella Streeval's parents Sarah and Jeffrey Streeval joined the Mayor and Judge at the signing ceremony.
