Durrett said he is in the preparation phase, developing the plant, now and gave Mayor Pam Hoots and Dr. Max Downey much of the credit for his choosing to locate in Adair County. His foresees adding 50 jobs over the coming months and years.
He and his wife LeAnne are from Greensburg and he is the brother of the owner of Synergy Food Group which just opened in January in the former Majestic Yacht location. The Durrett family now has businesses located on both the north and south sides of Columbia.
