Steve Watson said one of their family's winter memories was when it was so cold as Uncle Roy delivered his mail over the ridges on horseback, he had to ask Aunt Ella to bring a pot of coffee out and pour it over his boots to get them loose from the iced stirrups before he could get off and go in the house. Letters for Willard's Emmaeus Walk encouraged

Willard Parnell of Edmonton is going on the Emmaeus Walk this weekend before he turns 95 on April first. Letters of encouragement and appreciation will be shared with him while he's there.
If you would like to write a letter, take it to the Edmonton United Methodist Church, 302 S Main Street in Edmonton, and put an envelope between the storm door and the wooden door that goes from the parking lot into the pastor's office.
It's located at the backside of the church building. Pleases be sure you take your letter by Thursday at 6pmCT. If you have questions or need help getting your letter delivered, call 270-670-3650. Comments | Permalink
