Dax Rich's Country Ham Basket

Thirty-four 4-H Youth will be auctioning off country hams produced as part of their 4-H Country Ham project at this year's 4-H Country Ham Auction on November 6, 2025. Each youth will create a ham gift basket that will be auctioned off along with their ham.

Farmer hosts voter registration drive for Co-op Champions

Taylor County High School student Hunter Farmer takes part in Co-op Champions, a program coordinated by Kentucky Electric Cooperatives. In addition to supporting their local co-ops and volunteering in their communities, each of the Co-op Champions students hosted a Co-ops Vote registration drive. Hundreds of new voters have been added to the rolls in Kentucky thanks to high school students participating in the program.
