The Thomas E. Paull home, the place where genealogist and historian Ruth Paull Burdette grew up, now the site of the main Adair County Public Library.

There will be an official "Ribbon Cutting" event on the one year anniversary of the opening of the Adair Genealogy and History Research Center at 10amCT on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, shine or rain.

Mapping Coordinator says thank you

Derrick Murphy​, Mapping & Addressing Coordinator​​​ for Adair County, gave a note of thanks to the Columbia Mayor and City Council for voting to donate a used vehicle to the 911 Center at Monday night's meeting. He said the vehicle that it replaces was Officer Gary Roy's older CPD Cruiser and this will really help.

Pauline Kurtz with her new book "Call Me Huck III: The Trials of Fannie Finn Noe," which was released on Amazon on March 19. The new book tells about Louisa Rogers Stotts when she was growing up on Mell Ridge in Adair and Green Counties along with her siblings, Nellie, Fannie, Irene, Henry, Sam, William, and Sally May Rogers.
