Lights have added accents to the beautiful Redbud trees on the Public Square. As the pink blossoms yield to green leaves, color will come from flowers planted in each of the boxes.

A daughter requests, please say her name

2022-04-27 - Adair County, KY - Photo from personal collection
Stephanie Maclean, pictured at right, would like her Mom, the late Rosemary Bryant McLean, in the photo at left, to be remembered whenever names from her class are printed. Rosemary graduated from Adair County High School in 1982 and died in a car accident when Stephanie was only four months old. Whenever reunion notices are posted, she says she thinks of her Mother and would like to see her mentioned along with classmates.

Columbia Magazine has a 25-year history "linking the generations" - we're pleased to post this request and research further. Mike Watson assures us that the Adair County Public Library's new History and Genealogy Center will find Rosemary's obituary so it can be included in the archives and linked with Stephanie's keepsake picture. - LW
