UPDATE Sunday, May 1, 2022: Autumn has been located and is safe with Louisville Metro Police.

The Adair County Sheriff's Office, Adair EMA, and Breeding Area Fire Dept are attempting to locate Autumn Bailey Pennington, a 13 year old female. This female was last seen at a residence around 2:30amCT in the Breeding Community of Adair County Kentucky. Autumn is 5'1", 80 pounds with dark brown hair and blue eyes. It is possible that she may be traveling with an unknown person. If you know the location of this girl or any important information please call the Adair County E-911 at 270-384-6464.

It's Duck Derby time

Columbia is having its Duck Derby today, Saturday, April 30, at 11amCT as Pre-Derby Weekend kicks off in the state. The duck in this picture is on the Ohio River in Louisville but the local activities will take place on Russell Creek. They'll be dumped and race to a pre-determined marking place. All the proceeds will go towards making an official Paddle Trail kayak launching spot on Russell Creek by the 206 bridge.

Ms. Valerie Woody

Friday, April 29, 2022, marks the retirement of Ms. Valerie Woody after 29 years with the Adair County School system. ACES staff and students came to together to congratulate Ms. Val on her last day today.
