Travel writer Big Al Owens writes, "Before the Pandemic, I bought a couple of tickets to see Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, and Chris Stapleton in concert. Then the deadly COVID-19 Virus struck and it was postponed twice. Finally this year I was able to travel to Lexington at Kroger Field to see the show." Comments | Permalink

Billy Joe writes, "During most years, Kentucky's cool spells are perfectly correlated with the mass flowering of three native pioneer species of hardwood trees; Redbud first, Dogwood second and thirdly, Black Locust. The beauty, fragrance and importance of the Black locust bloom are all three under-appreciated. The beauty in my opinion is unmatched outside the tropics, the fragrance at its zenith will melt the hardest heart and the nectar produces a very desirable, fruity and fragrant honey."
