Columbia City Council meets to accept bids

The Columbia City Council held its second meeting of the month Monday evening to go over bids on the Splash Pad, a tractor, police vehicles and chimney removal and clean up at the Burkesville Street Park, newly named the Columbia Citizens Park. Courthouse then and now

The historic Adair County Courthouse can be seen in these two photos at the Genealogy and History Center at the Library. The top picture is of the courthouse before it had the "wings" added and before the brick was painted. The lower photo is after. A new effort is being made by Fiscal Court to remove the added "wings" and get back to the original footprint of the building. Comments | Permalink
