Adair County High School Tennis begins 2024 regional tournament today.

Tennis region tournaments are split into three different events, the first being the girls team tournament, where the top three singles players and the top two doubles teams from two schools will play and the team that wins the majority of matches will advance to the next round. The ACHS girls will play Central Hardin in Elizabethtown and on Friday the boys will travel to Campbellsville to play Taylor County in the first round of their region team tournament.

The final of the three tournaments, the individual tournament, will begin next Monday.

In that tournament the top two boys singles players, the top two boys teams, the top two girls singles, and the top two girls teams from every team in the region get bids to the tournament. The top players in the region receive seeds, while most do not. The match up for every Adair County player is listed below.

Boys singles:
Brody Blair v. #3 Carson Donahue (LaRue Co.)

Luke Rich v. #4 Sam Nelson (Central Hardin)

Boys doubles:
Trenton Page/Carter White v. #3 Connor Lynch/Nolan Parsons (Elizabethtown)

Alex Perkins/Trey Stephens v. Jayden Blevins/Carter Salisbury (Fort Knox)

Girls singles:
Creedence Wolfgang v. Ava Logsdon (Hart Co.)

Caylin Coffman v. Evelyn Riley (Bardstown)

Girls doubles:
Abby Bullock/Sarai Collins v. Kayla McKee/Candice Olvera (Fort Knox)

Kinzlee Akin/Kylieanne Akin v. Alice Allen/Naomi Thomas (Fort Knox)

That tournament will be hosted at Freeman Lake State Park in Elizabethtown. Further results will be coming from all three of those tournaments.
